Most of us hardly pay attention, or care about, our waning out memory and increasing daily stress in life and believe you me; it can prove dangerous for your well being. Stress can lead to a number of deadly ailments, starting from minor things like stomach Pain, insomnia and IBS to major depressive disorders. Yes, it sure can. Not only our memory but our bodily movement and the entire functioning is controlled by our mind. Hence, it is extremely imperative for us to take care of our mind; as, only then we can maintain a healthy body and can enhance longevity. Here are a few things worth considering:
One thought at a time
As a matter of fact, our brain can only hold one thought at a time. Therefore, to stay relaxed and away from stress, you must consider replacing any negative thought that comes into your mind immediately.
Sleep Qualitatively
Nobody exactly knows the amount of sleep we actually need to stay fit and healthy. So, it is not necessary that you have to sleep on 6 to 8 hours daily, as they generally recommend. It is the quality of a sleep that matters over the quality. Avoid feeling anxious and frustrated in case you are one of those millions of people who find it hard to sleep easily. It is absolutely normal but the anxiousness as fear of having insomnia or something can easily drag you to stress and depression.
Take Balanced Diet and Water
As much as you can, water does absolutely no harm to you. It, in fact, leads to the removal of toxins from your body and eases out the fatigue you might catch during any tiresome day. Moreover, the quality of your diet is also very effectual thing, which controls the general health of your mind.
Relax and Have Fun Relaxing and taking things easy is not easy, but try you must. Meditation and yoga, or just some sort of sporting activity from the start of the day, may well get you going well on the path of mental peace.
Step counting
The sages from ancient India practiced this very simple and effective strategy to keep away from stress. Count your steps while walking to work. Follow it for 21 days, the minimum amount of time which humans take for any act to become a habit, and the results will surprise you.
Stretch your memory
The memory and the human brain, just like any other muscle, needs to be stretched daily in order to gain a strength that lasts. Fall into a habit of daily exercising, meditation, reading motivational stuff, hearing to soothing music, etc., and you will persistently feel light headed.
